MEET OUR PERFECT FARMERS

Many Hands Make for Light(er) Work

Our farm family is our family. We are a group of interrelated individuals, committed to each other and to regenerative agriculture. Each of us brings intention and devotion to creating delicious food, stewarding resources responsibly, and building a farm like we build our family, for good.

We welcome volunteers and work for trade arrangements. Reach out to us to find out more.

BRETT

Principal Farmer

Brett is the farm team leader. He's been obsessed with food systems, including production, for decades. While he isn't at the farm every day, he stays connected to the farm maintaining the vision and managing the farm business. When he is at the farm you will find him eliminating invasive scotch broom and wandering the fields for inspiration.

SHAUN

Farm Manager

Shaun manages the day-to-day operations of Our perfect Farm. Shaun's farming book learning was at The Evergreen State College where he concentrated in Organic Farming. He applies all that knowledge to the fields at O/p Farm. Shaun spends his days caring for the farms' animals, building the soil, moving rocks, creating farm plans, and generally attending to everything that comes up on a small farm.

GEORGE AND DEACON

Farmhands

George and Deacon are regular contributors at Our perfect Farm. They offer four of the many hands that make for lighter work. When they're on the farm you'll find them wherever Shaun sends them for that day's priority tasks.

HARRIS-HOUGHTON FAMILY: KAYLEE, BRODEN, JAX, AND ORION

Farm Helpers

Kaylee, Broden, Jax, and Orion are key members of the O/pF team! They bring a spirit of fun, along with hard work, to the farm.

POCO

Farm Protector

Poco watches for anything out of the ordinary at Our perfect Farm. He sounds the alarm when anyone visits and diligently chases off errant rabbits and any other animal visitors. You'll find him trying to sneak off to explore the neighboring DNR land when he isn't following the farmers around.
